ProofPack does not collect your data.
There are no accounts, no cloud sync, and no analytics.
Everything you document stays on your device.
What ProofPack is
ProofPack is a privacy-first app for creating structured, timestamped personal records on your Android device.
It runs entirely offline. No internet connection is required to create, view, or export your packs.
What we collect
Nothing. ProofPack does not transmit, upload, or share any data you enter.
Your pack contents, photos, notes, and timestamps live in an encrypted local database on your device only.
On-device encryption
ProofPack uses an encrypted SQLite database. The encryption key is generated on your device and protected by the Android Keystore.
Private packs add a second layer: they require your app lock PIN or biometrics before they can be opened.
Photos and files
Photos you add to a pack are stored locally inside the app's private storage.
They are not uploaded anywhere and are not accessible to other apps.
Exports and sharing
PDF exports are generated on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
When you share or save a PDF, you control where it goes — we have no visibility into that.
Backup
ProofPack Plus includes an encrypted backup feature.
Backups use PBKDF2 key derivation and are encrypted with a passphrase you choose.
Backups are saved to a location you select on your device — no cloud upload from our side.
Third-party services
ProofPack uses Google Play Billing to process ProofPack Plus purchases.
We do not receive or store your payment details.

No other third-party services are used.
Children
ProofPack is not directed at children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, this page will be updated with the new effective date.
Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
